Cleocatra: how long does a sticky Wild remain?

Author —

Wild is locked to Cleocatra, but that doesn’t mean it lasts the same for all features. The important detail is in the name of the mode and the event that ends the lock. If only one screenshot is held, it is easy to mix respin and free spins.

Original slot concept: Cleocatra. Sticky until a winning line and sticky until the feature ends. Not actual provider screenshot.
Original concept illustration, not a provider screenshot or evidence of a played round. Labels and numbers are for hypothetical examples. Images are control timelines only, not full actual reel layout. There is no implied payout or exact number of respins.

Prioritize the mode before the lock icon

In official Cleocatra description, a full vertical stack of cat symbols on reel one initiates a respin. Wilds and matching cat symbols remain sticky until a winning line is formed.

In free spins, Wilds are sticky until the end of the feature. So the word sticky is not enough: it comes with a release condition. The free-spin lock will not automatically end on the first winning line as a different mode is described.

Two clear endpoints

Hypothetical respin record: lock visible at event A; no winning line yet in event B; there is a qualifying winning line in event C. The endpoint to be checked is C, not an arbitrary “three spins” rule. No fixed respin count is added in this example.

How to read two consecutive screens

Record the mode label, reel and row of the locked symbol, matching cat identity if respin, and event that changed the feature. Just compare frames from the same round. If there is a winning line in the middle, the first and last picture is no longer a pure before/after persistence test.

When the mode is not visible, first write “sticky Wild visible; duration unknown.” That’s better than deciding there’s an error because the lock is lost, or assuming it’s the end of the bonus because of a similar game.

Multiplier and duration are separate

Wilds have a 2× or 3× multiplier according to the product overview. This does not change the meaning of the release condition. The multiplier is an award modifier; the sticky status is persistence of the symbol. Don’t treat every frame that still sees the same Wild as an extra spin or a new payout.

The useful record has mode, position, lock-start event, release condition and settled award. If the question is a monetary discrepancy, the actual winning line and paytable are also required. The lock duration diagram alone is not proof of any winning amount.
