Deep Sea Frenzy: what the 16,000x cap means at ₱8 and ₱40 bets

Deep Sea Frenzy’s English game page lists an RTP of 96.52%. The demo’s game data adds a maximum round win of 16,000 times the total bet, plus a second set of values with a 10,000x cap. This article converts both caps into pesos at two total bets, shows what the reported frequencies imply, and flags which figures are stated by the demo rather than measured.

What the official page confirms

The Pragmatic Play game page for Deep Sea Frenzy lists an RTP of 96.52%. It says collect symbols award the sum of the eight or more money symbols they land alongside, before the bonus triggers. Five free spins start the bonus, and a +1 Spin collect symbol can add a spin. During free spins, collect symbols award the money symbols on the same spin, and those values rise progressively up to 200x by the twelfth spin. The page does not state a maximum round win, so the cap figures below come from the demo’s game data.

The fields we used

Field (demo game data, read 2026-10-15) Value How we use it
RTP (regular, ante and purchase) 96.52% in each Long-run return; all three match
Max round win (max_rnd_win) 16,000x Ceiling as a multiple of total bet
Reported frequency (max_rnd_hr) 1 in 100,000,000 Per-round chance of the cap; not measured
Second-set cap (max_rnd_win_a) 10,000x Read from the _a fields; we could not confirm which mode they describe
Second-set frequency (max_rnd_hr_a) 1 in 33,333,333 Reported; same caveat

Both reported frequencies are round or near-round numbers. That may be how the figures were set, but it also means they should be read as stated parameters rather than results from a large sample.

Cap in pesos at two total bets

A cap is a multiple of the total bet, so the peso figure moves with the stake. Our calculation for two hypothetical total bets:

Total bet (hypothetical) 16,000x cap (first set) 10,000x cap (_a set)
₱8 ₱128,000 ₱80,000
₱40 ₱640,000 ₱400,000
Bar chart of the cap in pesos at a ₱8 and a ₱40 total bet, for the 16,000x and 10,000x figures.
Our calculation from the demo’s cap values. Ceilings, not expected payouts.

How often the reported frequency would bite

If each round is independent and the reported frequency is right, the chance of at least one 16,000x round is 1 − (1 − 1/100,000,000)n. Our calculation:

Spins Chance of at least one 16,000x round
1,000 0.0010%
10,000 0.0100%
100,000 0.0999%

For the second set the same arithmetic gives 0.0030%, 0.030% and 0.30% at 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 spins. The second set is more frequent, but its ceiling is lower; neither shows which result a player would see first.

Expected loss at the stated RTP

Expected loss equals total wagered multiplied by one minus the RTP, which is 3.48%. At a ₱40 hypothetical bet, 1,000 spins wager ₱40,000 and carry an expected loss of about ₱1,392. That is the long-run average across many players. A single session can finish well above or below it, and the cap sits far outside what most sessions will reach.

What this article does not show

  • No demo or live session was run for this article, so no observed results are reported.
  • The progressive collect-symbol values and the +1 Spin rule are described on the page but not quantified, so we do not calculate their effect.
  • The _a set is read from demo data and its mode is not confirmed.

Use the RTP as a long-run average and the cap as a ceiling. Play only with money you can afford to lose, and set a limit before you start.
