Game award and promotional credit: two rules, two records
A promotional credit can be linked to play without becoming part of the game’s paytable award. If a banner and a game-help page show different numbers, first ask whether they describe the same thing.
For the topic overview, see Promotions: read the condition before the headline.
The game rule may describe how a completed round pays. The promotion may describe a separate credit, condition or deadline. Adding them is justified only after both components are actually established.

Classify each statement before comparing it
The UK Gambling Commission’s consumer guidance emphasizes distinguishing funds and significant bonus conditions. Its British scope does not settle the terms of a Philippine offer. This article uses fictional wording rather than advertising a current promotion.
Imagine a game record showing a settled award of 40 units. Separately, an invented promotion says an eligible completed action can receive a 10-unit credit after its conditions are met. The 10 does not change the game’s 40 into a different paytable value.
Read three possible records honestly
| Evidence available | Game award | Promotional credit | Established combined credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round completed; promotion unconfirmed | 40 | Unknown | 40 confirmed; extra unresolved |
| Round completed; separate credit confirmed | 40 | 10 | 50 |
| One account total already includes both | Included in 50 | Included in 50 | 50, not 60 |
The last row catches a common duplicate. Adding the 10 again to an account total of 50 would count the promotional credit twice. The first row catches the opposite evidence problem: a banner alone does not prove eligibility or posting.

A conflict within one rule is different from two separate scopes
If two current documents both claim to define the same game award and contradict each other, that is a genuine rule-source question. But a game maximum and an account promotion can differ without contradicting each other because they govern different components.
Write the source, effective date, exact edition or offer, eligible action and amount type beside each statement. Avoid borrowing the most favorable line from one source and the broadest scope from another to create a hybrid offer nobody published.
Ask for the unresolved component
A precise question is: “The round shows 40; does this separately identified promotion apply, and where is its 10-unit credit recorded?” That is clearer than claiming the game underpaid by 10 before the promotional conditions have been checked.
If a deadline or restriction is disputed, retain the original wording and seek the relevant explanation. This worksheet organizes the evidence; it does not rule on enforceability, promise a credit or encourage more play to complete a promotion.
